Restaurant JAQ will open its doors on December 12 in the theater district of Rotterdam, opposite the Oude Luxortheater and close to the bustling entertainment area around Hofplein. The atmospheric restaurant is the place to meet for a drink during or after shopping, for a business dinner or before you enter the nightlife of Rotterdam.

Whether you come to JAQ for lunch or dinner: the accessible menu - compiled by executive chef Paul Dingjan - is the same all day long. The card is designed in such a way that the table can be full of goodies, for yourself or for sharing. All dishes are pure and honest. Thanks to a loving and professional preparation, everything tastes exactly as it should taste. Night out or something to celebrate? JAQ does like a nice drink or a party. In the atmospheric bar you can enjoy classic cocktails, local beers and delicious bar bites.
Menu for the whole day
You can go to JAQ all day long. Enjoy a delicious Jaqshuka: an egg stew with tomato and spinach, or the various club sandwiches. One of JAQ’s favorites is the "chic fries" with pulled pork and chipotle mayo, derived from the famous Rotterdam Hair Salon. JAQ's specialty is high-quality meat. Such as the dry aged rib eye that has been dried for at least three weeks in the restaurant's own drying cabinet. For vegans or vegetarians there is the avocado or halloumi sandwich, JAQ's Jerusalem artichoke and parsley root, or the Buddha Bowl with soup or salad to which meat or fish can be added. With a drink, order crispy nachos with a sauce from Dutch farmhouse cheese, or the extensive cocktail or charcuterie board. Desserts are not on the menu. The extensive dessert platter is presented at the table, from which you can choose a delicious dessert.
Velvet with a little bling
Rotterdam stylist Marcella Kanters designed the bar area for JAQ, together with flower and plant specialist Summer Flowers. The industrial concrete floor is softened by comfortable seats with velvet pink and green seats. Or take a seat on the high bar chairs, relax in a lounge chair or meet your friends or colleagues on the long couch. The golden lighting, the large mirrored wall and golden details give JAQ a classy atmosphere. Because people from Rotterdam, they love a glimmer. Striking are the paintings on the wall inspired by street art and the golden neon artwork "Hello Gorgeous" in the hall. The high windows at the front of the restaurant provide a spacious feeling and beautiful light.
