September is already over, so on this first day of October, let's look back on the best-read stories of last month. This way we can ensure that you won't miss the highlights!
1. Breda | 7x shop 'till you drop in Breda
Are you in for some shopping in Breda? Then you might wanna skip the bigger shopping streets with the well-known brand stores this time. Because the Parel van het Zuiden ('Pearl of the South') is bursting of the cute boutique stores and cool concept stores where you can shop for the most unique and special items. And all of that can be found within a walking distance from the Grote Kerk ('Great Church'). HTSPT gives you the best tips!

2. Haarlem | FRENCHIE, we like you!
Falling in love with a place, just based on Instagram. Because of the stunning interior, or the mouthwatering food and drinks. Or both. Do you recognize that? Fantastic of course, until the moment you discover that the place in question is located on the other side of the country. Bummer! But let's be honest: as a resident of 'klein kikkerlandje’ (little) Holland, that shouldn't be a reason not to visit. Off to Haarlem! For a late breakfast (or early lunch) at Frenchie.

3. Rotterdam | 5x a little bit of Italy in Rotterdam
Together with Laura van de Wijgaart, we visited five Rotterdam-Italian hotspots, because according to her 'it was high time for such a list'. Because she works for clothing brand Garcia, she has a preference for Dutch companies with a heart for the land of love. We thought it was a nice idea, so here we go!

4. Rotterdam | 10x best Asian restaurants in Rotterdam
Did you not have any travel plans this summer and nothing to look forward to in the next few months as well? Lucky for you Rotterdam has endless options for a small holiday to exotic Asia, just around the corner. How about making your own spring rolls in a Vietnamese courtyard? Or slurping Japanese noodle soup? Or dining next to dozens of Malaysian lucky cats? HTSPT gives you the best tips!

5. Rotterdam | 10 crowdfunding success stories in Rotterdam
Starting your own hotspot easily costs ten thousands of euro's. So what if you have a brilliant idea for a new spot, but your bank account doesn't go anywhere near that number? Crowd funding is the magic word! It is not just a fast way to get your funding, but also perfect to find out if there is a market for your concept. Invite all your investors for the opening and there you have your first big party. So no wonder Rotterdam is already bursting with crowd funding successes!

6. Rotterdam | La Vita è Bella at Caffè Booon
You'll find Caffè Booon at the heart of Provenierswijk in Rotterdam North. The Italian cafe is a great place for breakfast, lunch, good coffee and Italian aperitifs. The cafe is a favorite among many and since the take-over by South African couple Sam Davids and Zahir Omar, we decided it was time to make a well deserved visit!
