Sound familiar? You may recognise these two as the masterminds behind Bij Guusjes and Op Zuid. Formerly divided into two separate restaurants, Pastoe has seamlessly blended this historic gem’s original boiler room and woodshop into a unified whole. Surprisingly, the industrial space needed minimal renovation. However, the ambience has undergone a captivating transformation, introducing warm colours, a fresh interior and artistic touches to the space.
As you step inside, you’ll immediately sense a laid-back vibe that extends from the indoor to the outdoor areas — they’ve really created a place where anyone can feel at home any time of day. Whether you’re in for a freshly brewed coffee, business lunch, dinner, spontaneous late-night gathering, or a crafty cocktail on their sunny terrace by the water. But that’s not all – their menu boasts an array of dishes infused with an Italian-Mediterranean twist that will transport your taste buds straight to the sunny shores of the Med!
